About Us

Christine Wilson
Christine was born and raised in Owego. Dr. John I. Perestam assisted in the birth of Christine and became one of her favorite Chiropractors alongside his son, Dr. Alan Perestam. Her parents, Bill and Karen Halstead, brought her up using holistic medicine and Chiropractic. She graduated from Tioga Central in 2000, then went on to Broome Community College and transferred to Binghamton University. Christine graduated in 2004 with a Bachelor’s of Science in Human Development. During her years of college she became certified in Reiki and Integrative Energy Healing. She started working with Dr. Alan Perestam in 2004 and later became the Office Manager. Christine enjoys being outside in nature, creating herbal creams, and spending time with her family.
Christine and her husband, Dave Wilson, have been happily married for nineteen years. They enjoy spending time with their sons, Colin and Sam, in their sports endeavors and other activities.

Julie Dodge, LMT
Julia grew up in Brooktondale, NY with her parents Larry and Teresa and her sister Laura. She was raised with a love of animals, especially horses. After she graduated from Candor Central School in 1997 she joined the Air Force. She served active duty for 5 years before she started going to Baltimore School of Therapeutic Massage. She graduated from there in 2004 and went on to Onondaga School of Therapeutic Massage and graduated in 2005. Julia came to Dr. Alan Perestam in 2005 to start her massage practice, and later became our Office Assistant. She obtained her Associates degree in Hotel, Restaurant and Fitness Management in 2012. Julia has been in the Air Force for 22 years and retired in 2019. When she is not in the office she is spending her time working at the VFW Post 1371 and Richards Funeral Home. In her free time she loves helping her Dad take care of the horses and spending time with her family and friends.
