Julie Dodge, LMT
Massage
Julie graduated from Baltimore School of Therapeutic Massage in January of 2004 and Onondaga School of Therapeutic Massage in 2005. She specializes in Swedish massage with a combination of deep tissue and Myofascial Release massage. Swedish massage is known today as the “traditional” massage. Swedish massage includes long gliding strokes, kneading, friction, tapping and shaking motions. This type of massage is effective for most ailments because by massaging the skin, the largest organ of the body, sets up a chain reaction that produces a positive effect on all layers and systems of the body. It affects the nerves, muscles, glands, and circulation, and promotes health and well-being. Julie also does Craniosacral Therapy, which is a light touch, whole body treatment technique developed by John E. Upledger, DO, OMM; works with the body's craniosacral system to support and nourish the central nervous system - improving overall health and well-being. This therapy compliments hands-on bodywork; works with the natural and unique rhythms of the different body systems to pinpoint and address problem sources. It can also help alleviate aches, pains and strains of life. Essential oils can be applied to any of the following services.
One-hour massage: $80
Half-hour massage: $45
Craniosacral Therapy $65
