Christine was born and raised in Owego. Dr. John I. Perestam assisted in the birth of Christine and became one of her favorite Chiropractors alongside his son, Dr. Alan Perestam. Her parents, Bill and Karen Halstead, brought her up using holistic medicine and Chiropractic. She graduated from Tioga Central in 2000, then went on to Broome Community College and transferred to Binghamton University. Christine graduated in 2004 with a Bachelor’s of Science in Human Development. She started working with Dr. Alan Perestam in 2004 and found that she enjoyed the environment. She is now the Office Manager. Christine is a Reiki Master, IET® Practitioner and also does Raindrop Technique. She also enjoys dowsing and using Touch for Health.
Christine and her husband, David Wilson, have been happily married for over fifteen years and are enjoying their two sons, Colin and Samuel. Colin and Samuel are both healthy boys who enjoy an adjustment now and then from their favorite Chiropractor Dr. Alan.
Julie Dodge, LMT
Julia grew up in Brooktondale, NY with her parents Larry and Teresa and her sister Laura. She was raised with a love of animals, especially horses. After she graduated from Candor Central School in 1997 she joined the Air Force. She served active duty for 5 years before she started going to Baltimore School of Therapeutic Massage. She graduated from there in 2004 and went on to Onondaga School of Therapeutic Massage and graduated in 2005. Julia came to Dr. Alan Perestam in 2005 to start her massage practice, and later became our Office Assistant. She obtained her Associates degree in Hotel, Restaurant and Fitness Management in 2012. Julia has been in the Air Force for 22 years and retired in 2019. When she is not in the office she is spending her time working at the VFW Post 1371. In her free time she loves helping her Dad take care of the horses and spending time with her family and friends.
Linda was born in Binghamton and raised by her parents Ernest and Bernice Breffle in Center Village, in Conklin and Binghamton. She graduated from Binghamton North Senior High School then went on to Broome Community College to get her Accounting Degree. After school she obtained a job with the NY Telephone Company in Rochester, NY for five years and then later moved back to Binghamton and continued working with the telephone company. After Linda retired from NYNEX she worked at Tioga County Mental Health for three years, and then started a new job with The Presbytery of Susquehanna Valley with the camping program and today she is currently involved in the Lay Preacher Program for the past 12 years.
Linda started working at our office in July 2005. She has lived in Apalachin since 1975 on Marshland Road. Her father, who was a bricklayer, built her brick steps to her house that has survived two floods. She enjoys kayaking on the Susquehanna, Delaware, Chenango, several Vermont rivers and in the Adirondacks. Her other past time is letterboxing, which gets her out hiking and into the outdoors which she loves. She also loves spending time with her family and friends.
